Bleachers
At Haldeman-Homme, we offer quality bleachers manufactured by Irwin Telescopic Seating Company, which currently produces a full line of telescopic bleachers and chair platforms in a state of the art, 100,000-square-foot plant, dedicated to the manufacturing of telescopic products.

Bleacher Construction:
A. Cantilever support arms are triple formed 10-gauge steel. The 3-1/4" wide arms are securely welded to the understructure supports making it the strongest telescopic design available. B. Numerous heavy steel deck supports are located throughout the row to provide a safe and sound walking surface free of any deflection. The nose beam, panelam decking and galvanized rear risers are bolted to the deck support using locking hardware. C. Understructure supports are made of rectangular structural steel tubing and increase in size as required by the design load criteria. The width of the post and the wheel channel are 1-1/2" wide allowing for a full 360o of weldment. Nylon glides eliminate the need for lubrication and lower the overall maintenance costs. Understructure system is supported using 14-gauge formed galvanized steel.

D. Heavy-duty 10-gauge row locks ensure that the telescopic stand is locked open and secured for use. Row locks are automatically released during the authorized closing of the stand. E. Quadra-link system interlocks the understructure and provides a positive guide rod system at the lower portion of the understructure to assist in alignment and prevent row separation. The Quadra-link system does not require lubrication. F. Fully skirted formed one-piece wheel channels are constructed from 10-gauge steel for maximum rigidity. All wheels have an oil impregnated sleeve bearing for smooth opening and closing.

G. Galvanized steel rear riser beams are 14-gauge 50 KSI (or heavier) and provides continuous support to the walking surface. H. Seat brackets are made from 12-gauge reinforced steel and allow for either wood or plastic seating. Seat brackets interlock plastic seat modules to eliminate all pinching hazards. I. Structural steel nose beams are 14-gauge 50 KSI (or heavier) and provide the needed strength along the front edge of the walking surface. Our innovative design allows for the most spectator comfort by offering a minimum of 26-1/4" of usable foot space on either wood or plastic seating.

Seating Options
4/4" nominal lumber is the standard wood seat board of today. Solid yellow pine seats and riser boards with clear polyurethane finishes give that warm natural appearance. All lumber is upgraded to B and Better quality to provide years of use.
Brighten up your facility with blow molded plastic seat modules that are available in either standard, custom, or multiple colors. 10" or 12" blow molded seats offer true vibrant colors and are the most comfortable yet durable seat available.

5/4" nominal lumber is an actual 1" thick by 11" deep and provides that little extra comfort. This seat board is referred to by many as the premium seating material.
Integral fold-down chair seating can be added to your telescopic design to create a VIP area or as a source of revenue for the boosters club. "Quest" chair seats are available with an all-plastic seat and back with arms, or can be fully upholstered for added comfort.
