Jack and Dorothy Homme established the Homme Education Foundation in 1998 to support Haldeman Homme employees and thank them for their dedication to the company. Jack Homme is the current Chairman Emeritus of the company. The Foundation has provided over $300,000 in college scholarships to the children and grandchildren of Haldeman Homme employees.

Scholarships are available to the dependent children and grandchildren of current full time active employees of Haldeman Homme, Inc., or of retired employees who were employed a minimum of five years immediately prior to retirement from the company, or of deceased employees who were employed by the company at the time of death. Awards are made to students for undergraduate college study on the basis of financial need. Other program rules and eligibilities apply. The program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a Division of Scholarship America.

Applications are available in late March every year for scholarships the following school year. The applications must be completed and mailed by the application deadline of April 30.

There is nothing more gracious than the gift of education. Jack and Dorothy Homme are most gracious in their dedication to children, company employees and the value of education.
