Can be designed for any type of stored materials and any size space. Hand or electrically operated.
Material Handling AS/RS Automated material handling systems are used extensively in industrial warehouse and manufacturing operations to maximize manufacturing and warehousing efficiencies. Typical goals are reduced labor costs, reduced inventory carrying costs, higher material throughput, and space efficiency. Generally includes systems integration with MRP and automation systems. Available in a variety of system types depending on project goals.
A simple AS/RS storage products solution for smaller applications of high moving materials. Shelves housed inside a shell that travel up and down in a carousel like loop. Access to the shelves is via work high counters. Can be designed for automated picking operations but generally are used in hand picking applications for small parts, tools, high value inventory, records. Lowest average cycle times for fast throughput. Ergonomic design. Software controls and inventory management are optional. Good space utilization in high bay facilities. High ROI based on labor and space savings.
Vertical Lift Modules Another simple AS/RS storage products solution that can be used in small to large applications.
