Animal Science
In The Animal Science module, Students explore a variety of diverse topics involved in the study of animals. Students use the scientific method to develop a hypothesis that pertains to activities they perform in Maze Construction. Throughout the course of this module, students are immersed in animal science topics such as breed and meat cut identification, the care and study of mice, and common assets and expenditures associated with actual farming and ranching.

Optional Small Animal Habitat - Mice
The Small Animal Habitat for mice is a portable system that houses the Mice.
These mouse cages are constructed of clear, high-impact polycarbonate and include wire bar top, graduated water bottle with stopper, and filter cover. These clear cages provide a perfect observation system for students and enable them to feed the mice, clean the cages, and conduct experiments. A portable storage cabinet includes locking drawers to store mouse food and a locking storage compartment for cage bedding. The entire system may be wheeled into other classrooms or a commons area. Included is a detailed instructor's manual with complete setup and operation instructions
