Power Tool and Shop Safety
 
Students are introduced to general lab safety rules, as well as specific woodworking and metalworking equipment safety rules. The DEPCO Power Tool and Shop Safety module is presented through the use of the MediaPLUS multimedia delivery system.

  • Identify basic equipment and parts on woodworking and metalworking equipment
  • Identify lab safety procedures, operations, and rules
  • Practice safety when operating power equipment and hand tools
  • Master power equipment and laboratory safety tests

  • Use hands-on activities to investigate various forms of agricultural mechanics
  •  Demonstrate the proper use of power equipment, hand tools, and accessories
