HaldemanHomme, Inc, builds laboratories using Hamilton Scientific casework and fume hoods, as well as a variety of components from other world class manufacturers. We are proud that our vendor partners are recognized throughout the laboratory industry for the innovation, quality and durability. These vendor partners include such names as Water Saver, Nuaire, Epoxyn Products, Trespa, Enviroflex, Steris and many others. We can provide every phase of interior construction from planning to installation for a wide variety of projects in every laboratory discipline - industrial, Healthcare, Education, Government, Biotechnology and pharmaceutical. We have provided over a billion dollars of goods and services for the past 85 years.
Haldeman-Homme, Inc employs over 150 professionals with expertise in design, estimating, purchasing, contract administration, and installation management. We have offices in Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago, Des Moines, Madison, Sioux Falls, Houston, Dallas, Austin and Salt Lake City.
Focused on remaining the single source for quality services, we work to complete every project on time at the highest standards. We believe that the repeat business upon which we base our success will be due to the performance of our people in each endeavor, large and small.
Bonding
Haldeman-Homme, Inc has a large bonding capacity. To date, we have been bonded on individual projects for over $10 million, and have a bonding capacity in excess of $100 million. In addition, our bonding rates are the lowest available in the industry since we have maintained an excellent performance record with our surety company. The financial stability implicit in those facts, has allowed Haldeman-Homme, Inc to grow and meet specialized laboratory needs of owners, architects, and general contractors in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, Minnesota and the Dakotas.

Preconstruction Services
Much of the strength of our company's performance is in our preconstruction capabilities. We differ from most subcontractors in having the ability to provide the most comprehensive estimating and value analysis information throughout the design process, beginning with schematic design through completion of the final construction documents.
Design Services
As part of its commitment to being the single source for quality services, Haldeman-Homme, Inc employs a design staff that offers a full line of services and is available to work with architects, engineers and owners to produce design documents for laboratories. Our AutoCad software interacts with specialized laboratory furniture design software allowing us to respond quickly and accurately to all requests for design services. Haldeman-Homme also has the capability to use BIM software and Revit to add design efficiency to you project.
On any project our design staff conducts planning sessions with the owner to determine specific lay-out, process flow and storage requirements and to recommend products best suited for the lab’s technical and budget requirements. Once those project details have been agreed upon, the Haldeman-Homme, Inc design staff develops plans, elevations, details and an estimate to submit for owner review. We believe that we provide product and process solutions that will enhance the profitability and efficiency of our customers.
Conceptual Estimating
Our conceptual estimating efforts are based on the use of accurate active and historic cost data on all of our products. Our ability to estimate correctly the first time, leads to the development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) early in the design process. A dependable interior finish GMP, increases accuracy in all subsequent project cost estimating.
Scheduling
One of the most important aspects of a project is the integration of all of the construction activities into a schedule which expedites progress. Haldeman-Homme, Inc identifies major critical operations, time periods, and installation deadlines in order to prepare the most accurate schedule possible. Haldeman-Homme, Inc also develops a project schedule which coordinates our activities with those of other trades, to meet the scheduling objectives of the owner and the general contractor.
Our schedules are developed using a full range of computer tools. We also have specialists to assist the procurement and project management staff in developing and maintaining computer generated schedules. Automated systems allow us to provide detailed information such as:
• Shop drawing and submittal dates
• Target release dates for fabrication
• Delivery dates
• Installation start dates
• Manpower loading
• Critical item tracking
• Trouble-shooting reports
On Site Project Management
As projects require, Haldeman-Homme, Inc will provide on-site, full time project management services. We can offer not only a Project Manager, but a Project Engineer and a Lead Foreman. Our project management staff has the ability to control all aspects of the work. That staff is selected for their specific experience and knowledge to meet project requirements. Haldeman-Homme, Inc knows that the key to performance on a project lies in understanding it in detail, and working closely with the client.
Installation
Installation on a laboratory project is performed by Haldeman-Homme, Inc installers and managed by a Haldeman-Homme, Inc project management team. All of our installations are done by installers who have project specific training to maintain our high level of quality and performance.
Project Closeout and Warranty
At the completion of a project, Haldeman-Homme, Inc delivers all guarantees, warranties, and operation/ maintenance manuals to the maintenance staff. We ensure that all areas and materials are inspected and in good condition. Our project staff organizes the final set of as-built drawings and finishes any paperwork associated with the final payment and closeout of the project.
Haldeman-Homme, Inc will perform all warranty work and remain available to our clients should continued service be required after warranty obligations are met.
